We stopped the walls 2’ short of the aisle so that the aisles feel open. We noticed that when there are structures built to the very end of the aisle, shoppers often look down the aisle and skip it if there is already someone shopping with a cart in the aisle. It just feels too crowded. So we learned it’s in everyone’s best interest to keep the aisle feeling open and clear. We allow structures, to be built to the logo, but 50% of the space from the wall to the logo should be free and clear of a permanent structure so that it doesn’t feel too crowded. As a general rule, if you can see through the structure you should be fine. If you aren’t sure, don’t hesitate to ask.
